Ricardo Arcia is an electronic engineer by training, CEO and co-founder of Teravision Technologies, and the author of The Cognitive Leader: How to Drive Strategic AI Transformation in Software Development. For over two decades, he has helped organizations build, scale, and transform their engineering teams.

When generative AI reached the mainstream, Ricardo created an innovation lab inside Teravision with three fully autonomous delivery pods. Each team had eight weeks to deliver a product that normally took seven months, using AI across every stage of the software development life cycle. The results confirmed what he suspected: AI could dramatically accelerate delivery, but only with the right structure, training, and frameworks behind it. That experiment became the foundation for the Cognitive Engineering Framework™ and everything in the book.

Ricardo is also an endurance runner with five marathons completed. He organizes his life around four priorities: health, family, work, and hobbies. That same discipline shapes his approach to transformation.
